Texas Institute for Reproductive Medicine & Endocrinology, P.A.
The
Texas Institute for Reproductive Medicine & Endocrinology (TIRME)
was established in 1983, in response to the founders' perception of need
for an institution which could offer complete, efficient and economical
care of classic endocrine disorders and nonsurgical disorders of the male
and female reproductive systems. The Institute was founded by former members
of the Department of Reproductive Medicine and Biology at the University
of Texas Medical School at Houston (UTMSH) and it became an affiliate of
the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston. At UTMSH they were
engaged in teaching, research, and patient care in the specialty of Reproductive
Medicine and Endocrinology. Currently the staff of the Institute is engaged
primarily in application of latest advances in medical sciences towards
clinical care of patients with hormonal disorders and in research directed
towards solution of clinical problems. The members of the staff serve on
a variety of advisory boards and participate in clinical and scientific
meetings, workshops and symposia.
