In the 1960's a research laboratory was established which was involved in development of hormone determination techniques ranging from bioassays, isotope dilution techniques, ultimately radioimmunoassays and other techniques. THAL evolved from this research laboratory into a highly precise and dependable clinical hormone determination laboratory currently utilized by TIRME for its patients as well as for a variety of research projects requiring the application of hormone determination techniques.
